Mehul Jain is an accomplished Project Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas/ Chemical / Pharma industry. He has a strong background in FEED and Detailed Engineering for large scale EPCM projects, having started his career as a graduate engineering trainee and worked his way up to become a design engineer in the piping field. Mehul has gained technical expertise in managing the complete lifecycle of a project, having worked on several large scale projects with some big names in the industry. Currently working as a Project Engineer at Jacobs, Mehul is responsible for managing multiple Oil & Gas projects with clients in the UK. His responsibilities include preparation of project procedure manuals and quality plans, project execution planning, resource and man-hour planning, project coordination and communication, managing large teams to ensure flawless project delivery, document and project cost controlling, project progress tracking and reporting, and usage of Construction Design Management (CDM) in projects. In his previous role as a Piping Design Engineer at Jacobs, Mehul worked with multiple international clients and clients from the domestic market. He led multiple projects in the Oil & Gas / Pharma vertical to deliver successfully. His responsibilities included FEED as well as Detailed Engineering estimation and execution, piping modelling in 3D Softwares- PDS, SP3D and AutoCAD, piping layout and routing setting, generation of plot plan, piping material selection and support standard formulation, generating equipment GA drawings and checking, piping isometric extraction and checking, conducting model reviews with clients through Navisworks or other review software, clash checking and resolving through LFM Software, project progress tracking through PDM software and reporting, initiating and executing any design revisions through DRN’s, designing the pipe rack layout, communication with key project stakeholders and leading project teams, piping layout of clean utilities and other services, creating spend plan and other supporting documents. Mehul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Technology and Management Jobs. He completed his high school education from Delhi Public School, Faridabad. With his strong technical background and experience in managing large-scale projects, Mehul is looking forward to more opportunities that would help him to grow his career further while contributing to the organization's success.
