Mehul Khot is an experienced Product Manager with a passion for technology and data. With 8 years of experience in product development, he specializes in identifying product strategy, conducting market research and competitive analysis, defining MVPs, creating product roadmaps, and product documentation. Currently, Mehul is the AI-First Technical Product Head at bluCognition, where he leads 4 teams comprising over 30+ members, including PMs, data scientists, developers, and BAs. As the sole product manager, he focused on devising the product vision and strategy, identifying business objectives, and defining priorities and roadmaps. He translated the strategy into detailed requirements, specifications, prototypes, use cases, workflows, and wireframes and designed solutions using Figma. In addition to this, he also built and tested the product with engineers and QAs and defined metrics for its continuous improvement and enhancement. Before joining bluCognition, Mehul worked as a Digital Product Manager for 3.5 years for Payment products in Corporate Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank. His technical expertise in Python, SQL, R, Power BI, Advanced Excel/VBA enabled him to design and develop new solutions, refine existing offerings, and identify opportunities to improve financials for cash management products using analytics. He conducted research to understand customers' needs and designed intuitive and simple products that simplified their lives. One of his key achievements was developing a new product on corporate bill payment for corporate clients by integrating an API platform. Prior to his MBA, Mehul worked with Samsung India Electronics for 3 years as an Android Developer implementing key features in flagship phones, and as a cross-functional technical project manager managing multiple android upgrade projects for Asian markets. His excellent performance led to two business trips to South Korea to represent the development team. Mehul completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore and his B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai. He is passionate about technology and loves to play with data. His technical skills include product management, AI, research science, software engineering, Android, SQL, and Python. With 7.70 years of relevant experience, Mehul is looking for Product Roles that will challenge him and allow him to utilize his skills to the fullest.
