Mehul Patel is a seasoned startup guy with over 10 years of experience in mobile app development. He has a passion for new technologies, creative approaches, and software development in general, having written his first program at the age of 10. Climbing his career ladder from a junior developer to founding two amazing companies, he has gained the necessary skills both in technology and management. Mehul is always willing to share his knowledge and experience with others, often granting interviews on various topics and writing articles, tutorials, and guides. He strives to widen his network and establish more ties by attending meetups and conferences worldwide. Mehul's specialties include new technology development, R&D leadership, global product delivery, technology needs analysis, infrastructure design and implementation, system architecting, design and development, solutions/software development, system design for high availability, and performance and quality improvement. Currently, Mehul is working as a Technical Lead Android at Kami Vision, a company bringing peace of mind to over 20 million customers in 223 countries through their Edge AI and computer vision technologies. His responsibilities include writing optimized code in Java/Kotlin, reviewing code quality, testing functionalities with test cases, refactoring and code cleanup, and managing the release pipeline. In the past, Mehul co-founded Metro Midas Technology, where he ensured the development of solutions that met clients' business challenges and delivered the best possible experience for their visitors. He also worked as a Technical Lead Android at Software Consultant, where he developed and designed Android apps from scratch, led the team, and managed client communication. Mehul holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from HNGU.
