Meit "Matt" Shah is a seasoned management professional with over 14 years of experience in multi-year, large-scale implementations. He is currently the Lead Software Product Manager at Virgin Hyperloop, where he defines scope and manages the roadmap for automated vehicle systems, including controls and cloud systems. He is responsible for the development and management of a multi-year integrated software roadmap with quarterly updates based on technical and strategic decisions on product direction and corporate strategy. He manages product managers that are leading development teams of around 45 engineers to release software controls and machine learning software to enable vehicle testing programs. Matt is a skilled program manager with expertise in enterprise business transformations, software process management, technology program and project management, and software product management. He has managed program management organizations and project managers, and has experience implementing changes across finance, legal, HR, tax, IT, sales, supply chain, and operations. Prior to joining Virgin Hyperloop, Matt worked at EY as a Manager of Program Management Advisory, where he led cross-functional delivery leadership, managed EPMO and teams of project managers, and implemented agile project management of Oracle implementations. He also worked at Hitachi as a Senior Consultant, where he led agile and scrum project management for Oracle financials implementation, collected business requirements, and managed business analysis and requirements management for Oracle R12 financials implementations. Matt holds a Master's of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California, Department of Systems Engineering. His tech stack includes product management, test, QA, ML, and infra. He is a versatile professional who wears multiple hats at the startup, providing guidance and direction, implementing agile processes, scrum ceremonies, and methodologies across all engineering teams.
