Merin Santhosh is a highly motivated Systems Software Engineer with a passion for exploring emerging technologies. With 6.78 years of experience, he has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in various domains. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, he is responsible for developing embedded software for the QNX Real-Time OS in the automotive division. Merin Santhosh pursued his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida, specializing in Computer Engineering and Signal Processing. During his time at the university, he worked as a Research Assistant with Dr. Ravi Srinivasan on building a Virtual Reality (VR) assisted tool to aid in home alterations for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. He integrated various SDKs associated with the HTC Vive VR system, Leap Motion & Cyber Glove sensors, and a Gait analysis Mat into a Windows app and rendering scenes in Unity to study aspects of the patient’s interaction with the interiors of the home. Merin Santhosh's education and experience have given him a broad understanding of various technologies, including Internet of Things, GPU/FPGA Computing, Computer Architecture, Device Driver Development, and Virtualization. His coursework at the University of Florida included Analysis of Algorithms, Virtual Computers, Computer Architecture Principles, Advanced Systems Programming, Image Processing / Computer Vision, Cloud Computing and Storage, IoT Design, and Reconfigurable Computing (FPGA Computing). Merin Santhosh is a versatile Software Engineer and Research Scientist with a strong technical background. He has a keen interest in exploring new technologies and finding innovative solutions to complex problems. With his skills and experience, he is well-equipped to take on challenging roles in the technology industry.
