Michael Baumgartner is a passionate entrepreneur with expertise in building and growing technology businesses. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he specializes in business development, sales, fundraising, go-to-market, product & strategy. As the CEO of Augmento, he successfully built and managed an organization delivering a scalable SaaS-solution to some of the leading quantitative hedge funds in the digital asset industry. He was responsible for the overall success of the company and focused mostly on fundraising, recruiting, and sales. Augmento was acquired by Postera Capital in 2020. Prior to that, Michael ran Augmented Intelligence Institute, a research provider supporting high-level decision-makers with data-driven market insights gained from social media and other online sources. His clients included organizations such as the EU Parliament, Arla Foods, and Volkswagen. Before that, he spent 3 years as a trend analyst and consultant. Michael is currently a Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First Berlin, where he is the Founder of Cohort BE7. Entrepreneur First is the world's leading talent investor, bringing together complementary co-founders to build startups from scratch.
