Michael Bevilacqua-Linn is a highly skilled software developer with over 15 years of experience in software, distributed systems, and cloud architecture. He is currently working at Pfizer as a Software Developer, where he is responsible for various updates and enhancements on the adverse event reporting system. He is also involved in a lot of paperwork related to this system. Before joining Pfizer, Michael worked at Comcast as an Engineer and Software Engineer. At Comcast, he designed an API used for remote scheduling of Digital Video Recorders, which was implemented by several parties both in-house and vendors. He also ran remote scheduling field and lab trials and developed a custom wireshark plugin to pick apart the wire protocol used for communication with set-top boxes. Michael also developed several terrible SOAP/WSDL services for provisioning. Michael has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University, which he completed in 2011. He also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science and History, respectively, from the University of Rochester, which he completed in 2004.
