Currently working as an Engineering Manager at Instawork, Michael is responsible for building the next Engineering Team in Sydney, Australia, and helping the Instawork team go global. Michael's expertise lies in building and leading diverse teams across geographies in Australia, Asia Pacific, and North America. He has a strong vision for creating economic opportunities for local businesses and professionals globally, which aligns perfectly with Instawork's mission. Michael is currently hiring software engineers who are passionate about making an impact on a global scale. Prior to joining Instawork, Michael was the Co-Founder of Vianet, where he led the engineering team to provide IoT and advanced technology services across Ventia from Asset IoT development, project management to VR training, computer vision AI, and software development. Before that, he worked as an Engineering Manager at icd Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, where he merged with ICD's advanced technology group to form the Next Generation Asset Management Team. Michael holds a Bachelor of Information Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, Computer Vision, AI, Software Engineering, and Data Science.
