Michael Houck is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with over 7 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is the co-founder of Launch House, a professional social club for the new, decentralized Silicon Valley that helps ambitious builders level up and live better. He also co-founded House Capital, a venture fund by Launch House that invests in the New Silicon Valley. Michael's passion for startups and venture capital led him to raise $12M from a16z to grow a community of founders. He has a keen eye for identifying inspiring startup ideas and has been fortunate to invest in companies like Robinhood, On Deck, Lime, Showtime, Wombo, Iggy, and many others. Prior to his current roles, Michael built products used by millions of people at Airbnb and Uber. However, he always knew he would start something new, and during the pandemic, he convinced 20 founders he admires to move to Tulum, Mexico, to all live and build together. This grew into the Launch House community of inspiring founders, which has since expanded to Beverly Hills and is growing each month.
