Michael L. is a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) at the University of Sydney. He is an ambitious and passionate individual with a keen interest in better user design. Michael has been exposed to various leadership opportunities during his school and work environment, which have helped him develop excellent leadership skills. He has worked as Singapore's youngest COVID-19 test site supervisor, where he demonstrated his ability to handle challenging situations with ease. Currently, Michael is working as the Cloud Lead for Google Developer Group (Sydney), where he is responsible for leading and managing cloud-based projects. He has also been promoted as Creative Director for Google DSC USYD. Prior to this, Michael was a Student Fellow at Startmate, where he was selected from thousands of applicants to take part in a fellowship of Australia's most ambitious students to learn more about the startup ecosystem. He has also worked as a Project Management Intern at Govtech Singapore, where he conducted research into the discoverability of digital Government services in Singapore. Michael's education history includes pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) degree from the University of Sydney, which he is expected to complete in 2023. He has a diverse skill set that includes experience in test, senior software engineering, and research scientist roles. With 1.26 years of relevant experience, Michael is a highly motivated and driven individual who is always looking for new challenges. He is a quick learner, an excellent communicator, and has a strong work ethic. Michael is passionate about using his skills and knowledge to create innovative and user-friendly designs that can make a positive impact on people's lives.
