Michael McDuffee is a startup software leader with over a decade of experience at some of the most innovative companies in Silicon Valley. He has honed his craft of technology leadership and brings insight and big-picture vision to help teams focus on the core of the problem and iterate quickly. Michael is currently working as a Senior Frontend Engineer at WhyLabs.ai where he is responsible for developing the frontend of the platform using JS/TS, React, and Node. Michael has a strong technical background and is proficient in JS/TS, React, Node, Java, Android SDK, and UI/UX. He has worked on various projects including Lyft's experimentation and data platform tools, creating the in-car experience for the Lyft-Aptiv autonomous vehicle partnership program in Las Vegas, and creating the in-app experience for autonomous vehicle dispatch and selection on Android. He has also led the design of the Stripe Android SDK, a library used by thousands of merchants around the world to accept payments and securely store customer information in their native android applications. Michael has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science and a Master of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
