He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Meta, where he is involved in developing Community Messaging, which brings chats to Facebook groups. He is also a speaker at Google Developer Group, where he shares his knowledge and experience with other developers. Before joining Meta, Michael co-founded two successful platforms, souskasa.com, a chef pop-up platform, and onamenu.com, a contactless ordering platform for restaurants. He scaled both platforms to around 10,000 paying customers, with over $1 million processed. Michael also worked as a Software Engineer II at Wayfair, where he was involved in building a business-agnostic accounts receivable API for Revenue Management Services. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics BS, Mathematics BA, and Computer Science Minor from Boston College, where he graduated in 2015. He has over eight years of relevant experience as a software engineer and is proficient in various technologies, including JavaScript, AWS, PHP, Python, CI/CD, Typescript, and NodeJS.
