Michael Zou is a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Disney Streaming, where he is responsible for developing web and mobile applications, software applications, and highly scalable designs. Michael is a passionate software engineer who is skilled in production development and rapid prototyping. Prior to joining Disney Streaming, Michael worked at Hulu as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer. During his time at Hulu, Michael was involved in full-stack development of customer support tools using React, Flask, AWS, Python, and JavaScript. He also played a key role in architecture planning and leading various projects such as large-scale on-prem to AWS migration. Michael is experienced in creating systems architecture and diagrams based on user requirements and performing Agile/Scrum project processes, sprint planning, and retro. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEMS) from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
