Michelle Rybak is a Computer Vision & Image Processing Engineer currently working at Novetta. With nearly a decade of relevant experience, she has a strong background in electrical engineering and computer science. Michelle has a Master of Engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she specialized in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a High School Diploma from Bronx High School of Science. Michelle has worked with several companies in the past, including NetApp, where she served as a Platform Hardware Intern. During her time at NetApp, Michelle analyzed how signal integrity depends on properties of dielectric materials and created a Matlab algorithm to extract dielectric loss parameters from PCBs. She also gained experience using Vector Network Analyzers and Time-Domain Reflectometers. At NetApp, Michelle transformed her previous intern project into a Master's Thesis. She simulated frequency response of interconnects using Hyperlynx Signal Integrity software and designed and fabricated PCB test vehicles for data collection. Michelle produced loss data for six dielectrics and selected the most cost-effective material for NetApp. She is currently writing a thesis on the accuracy of the current extractions methods. Michelle's tech stack includes Computer Vision, Image Processing, and test.
