Miguel Loureiro is a seasoned tech leader, entrepreneur, angel investor, and advisor with over 11 years of relevant experience. He has a track record of creating high-performance engineering and product organizations by attracting, hiring, training, and retaining top talent. He has experience growing early-stage startups with less than 10 employees to scale-ups with over 300 employees. Miguel is adept at creating a bridge between corporate and lean start-up environments and transforming enterprise organizational units through modern tech execution and mindset shift. Miguel has a proven knowledge of scaling architectures that better fit the stage of an organization. He has applied Domain-Driven Design in different companies across different industries. He is also a start-up advisor and investor, providing valuable insights and guidance to entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses. Currently, Miguel is the Group CTO & Partner at ki group hq, where he co-founded two companies, xgeeks, and KI challengers. With over 100 employees and doubling, he is focused on value creation through corporate company building, engineering at scale, and start-up incubations. He is driving technology direction for group companies and acting CTO and advisor on their main company building projects and strategic, product, and technology advisor in the group portfolio startups. Prior to ki group hq, Miguel was the CTO at WTX, where he owned product, engineering, design, and data. He worked together with the leadership team on the company & product vision and defined organizational structure and process for PEDD areas. He ensured a good balance between discovery and delivery efforts and worked with Product Managers on defining the right success metrics for all initiatives/bets being delivered. He also created a very flexible roadmap process with continuous discovery and delivery in mind and drove hiring efforts of key roles. Miguel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Coimbra. He is a senior software engineer with a passion for creating high-performance engineering and product organizations and helping start-ups grow.
