Prior to founding camino, Mike was the Founder and CEO of Persista, a company that made it easy for teammates to find content across all of their SaaS and enterprise applications. The product was released on Slack, Chrome, iOS, and Web, and it used relevant content on pages and their context to auto discover meaningful content. Before that, Mike was the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of OpenGov Inc., a company that provides best-in-class financial reporting and transparency solutions to the government. OpenGov uses advanced natural language processing and machine learning techniques to create the first intelligent finance platform that aids the government in using data in smart ways. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is skilled in iOS, Web, NLP, and ML technologies.
