Ming Rutar is a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in various industries. She is proficient in multiple programming languages including Python, TypeScript, Shell script, terraform, Java, C++/C, and C#. She has hands-on experience with AWS programming, cloud management, network configuration and management, docker/docker compose creation, CICD pipelines automation, Tensorflow, HMMLearn, Jupyter Notebook, matplotlib, pandas, numpy, and more. In her previous role as a Sr Software Engineer / DevOps at Fortem Technologies, she built automation and Python scripts for backup large amounts of data (terabytes) from an on-prem server to the cloud (AWS). She also created CICD pipelines that build and deploy the software to AWS S3 and DockerHub, set up GitLab pipeline runners in AWS EC2, wrote scripts for automated version updating with notification to Slack channels, and automated the provisioning process. Ming's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and several nanodegrees from Udacity, including Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Android Development.
