He uses modern deep learning algorithms, Pepperfry's image database, and open-source datasets like COCO and Open Images to complete the project. Before joining Pepperfry.com, Mishra worked as an Academic Unit Representative of Academic Affairs for the Post Graduate Academic Council at IIT Bombay, where he resolved academic grievances and registration-related issues for more than 110 department students. He also worked as a Student Companion for the Institute Student Companion Programme, where he mentored nine students on academic and non-academic fronts and facilitated the e-orientation for more than 70 new entrants by helping the Department Coordinator.
