Mitul Bid is the Founder and CEO of Coditas, an offshore product development organization that designs and develops software applications, offering services spanning the entire software development life cycle. He was born and brought up in Kenya, and came to India to pursue his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay. Prior to founding Coditas, Mitul headed the software services division at Omniscient and worked as a Senior Solution Architect at Gemstone. Mitul is passionate about writing clean code, which he believes not only improves software, impacting billions of users, but also enhances the work satisfaction level of coders by tenfold. He has always been involved in part-time business ventures and acquired more knowledge regarding entrepreneurship. He realized that the business of services in the software sector was The One for him, and his primary aim in starting Coditas was to promote clean coding and change the perception of Indian coders globally. Coditas has been profitable since the founding month and has raised zero external funding. The company has bought its office premises and enjoys a balance sheet of zero liability. This is because the team believes in quality, efficiency, and integrity. Quality in everything that they deliver individually and as an organization, efficiency in delivering work at an optimal cost and lesser time, and integrity in maintaining honesty and transparency with their team members and clients. The team is also very particular about discipline and punctuality, which has helped them through. Mitul has 18.52 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
