Mitul Gajera is a software designer, engineer, and entrepreneur with a focus on solving blockchain problems to make adoption easy. With nearly 5 years of relevant experience, he brings an engineering perspective and creative problem-solving approach to create products and experiences. Currently working as a Product Designer at Laguna DeFi, he is designing and building non-biased inflation oracle, inflation-proof flatcoin, and a multichain multiplatform web3 wallet. Previously, Mitul worked at MahaDAO, where he joined as the first designer and set the design direction for the company's products. As a sole Product designer, he led all 0-1 core products that include governance platform, Decentralised mobile wallet, Lending/ borrowing protocol, IDO platform, Loan platform for stablecoin, Investor's token tracker for founders with cross-platform experiences that are simple and intuitive. He also made and scaled the design system from scratch, which is working as the backbone to build all the products for consistency and great user experience. Additionally, he helped the marketing team to build an online brand presence from all the major announcements, community engagement, incubation programs, and campaigns. Prior to MahaDAO, Mitul worked with Iconscout, where he led Iconscout photos to grow content from 0 to 200k plus and still continues to grow. He built a global community of designers and photographers and helped to accelerate their growth in various different phases of the acquisition funnel. Mitul has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and completed his High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from Gajera Vidhyabhavan. His tech stack includes designer, Web3, product designer, Blockchain, Decentralised, Mobile, DeFi, Android, iOS, Web, and Senior Software Engineer. Besides his professional interests, Mitul is passionate about making creative imagery by watching the surroundings wherever he goes. He has worked with brands like Nokia, LG, Motorola, and Honor for making creative content for launching their new products.
