At Rakuten, he served as the VP of Engineering, AI Platform, where he led the development of the AI/ML platform for all Rakuten Mobile operations. At Synapse Technology Corporation, he was the Head of Engineering, where he led the development of a proprietary threat detection platform to modernize security and defense at airport checkpoints, governments, office buildings, and other environments. Mohamed has a diverse educational background, with a degree in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University, an Executive Certificate Program in Machine Learning from Stanford University, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He has also completed several nanodegrees in Flying Car and Autonomous Flight Engineer, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence from Udacity.
