Mohammad Nadeem Alam is a Computer Scientist - II at Adobe and xSamsung with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field of mobile app development. In his current role at Adobe, he is working as a Senior Mobile Developer for Adobe Photoshop Express App for both iOS and Android platforms. He is responsible for optimizing app performance, upgrading Photoshop core engines for image processing features, and running A/B testing on Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target Cloud platform to increase retention and subscription. Prior to his current role, Nadeem worked as a Lead Engineer for a healthcare company in the US at GlobalLogic. He was responsible for taking over the Android app from the previous team and creating a new team for new and future developments. He also added new features for live patient studies in Clinical Ink. Before GlobalLogic, Nadeem worked for Samsung India Electronics for almost a decade. He was a Software Engineer III at Samsung Research Institute, Noida, where he worked on the Android platform for Samsung smartphones. He was also a module leader for the Samsung Keyboard application and a solution architect for new features and design. He wrote Java/Kotlin code for the Samsung Keyboard app and wrote engine code in Native C/C++. He was also responsible for managing Android build source using Perforce and application code using Git. Nadeem holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computers from Jamia Millia Islamia and completed his ISC from Boys' High School & College. He has a diverse tech stack that includes Android, iOS, Java, Kotlin, PHP, ML, MySQL, OpenCV, and Integration. He is skilled in Android SDK, Java 8, Kotlin, RxJava, RxAndroid, Android Jet Pack, MVVM, Design Patterns, CQA, App Testing, System Design, Android Architecture Design, Retrofit, JSON Parsing, Picasso, Systrace, method profiling, and UI Automator. Nadeem is a research scientist with a passion for mobile app development and image processing. He is always looking for ways to optimize app performance and improve user experience.
