Mohammad Owaiz Shaik is a multi-disciplinary designer and engineer with a passion for transforming companies through effective design leadership. With experience leading design at startups such as Electriphi, Joveo, and Aerchain, he has built products from zero to one and worked with over 80 brands to design and redesign various web and mobile platforms. As the Co-Founder of Cone (YC S22), he is currently building the future of finance and accounting. Mohammad believes in hands-on involvement and enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, subject matter experts, engineering, and product teams to bring innovative ideas to life. He is committed to giving back to the community and has served as a Design Mentor at Adplist, where he offers guidance on topics such as design thinking, storytelling, portfolio building, and accessibility. Mohammad holds a B.E. (Hons) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and has pursued professional education in User Experience and Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Foundation. He also holds high school/secondary diplomas and certificates from Bhashyam High School, Gorantla, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and BIIT Junior College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, respectively. With a tech stack that includes expertise in designing for mobile and web, as well as product management, Mohammad has relevant experience of 0.43 years. He believes that design can transform companies, change culture, and improve people's lives, and he is committed to making a difference through his work.
