Mohammed Junaid is a skilled Site Reliability Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is currently working with Microsoft as a Site Reliability Engineer 2, where he is responsible for Azure dedicated SRE. Prior to Microsoft, he worked with Arcesium and D.E.Shaw as a Site Reliability Engineer Lead, where he worked on monitoring enhancements, host capacity planning, and automation of redundant tasks to reduce toil for Operations. He was also part of defining guidelines on how to handle incidents efficiently as per SRE principles. Junaid actively worked on providing feedback on the improvements which can solve a lot of ops-related issues. He took multiple training sessions for the team and also helped in creating an outline of topics for the new joiners to get onboarding. Before joining Arcesium, Junaid worked with CloudThat as a Cloud Solutions Architect. CloudThat is the first company in India to provide Cloud Training & Consulting services for mid-market & enterprise clients around the world. With expertise in major Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, CloudThat is uniquely positioned to be the single technology source for organizations looking to utilize the flexibility and power Cloud Computing provides. At CloudThat, Junaid worked on developing an automation tool to manage infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. He worked on almost all AWS services and wrote many scripts for AWS infrastructure automation. Junaid holds a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree and a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree. He completed his schooling from Faraan high school and PU college. Junaid possesses skills in SRE, AWS, Azure, Python, Web, Senior Software Engineer, infra, and Docker. He is a tech enthusiast and gamer. Junaid is passionate about technology and continuously seeks to learn and improve his skills.
