Mohan Krishna Sunkara is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA, actively seeking a 2023 summer internship. He is a member of the Web Science and Digital Libraries (WS-DL) research group, where he conducts research on computer vision, human-computer interaction, machine learning, and deep learning. Mohan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology and a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. During his master's degree, Mohan worked as an R&D intern at HP Hewlett-Packard Research and Development in Bangalore, India, where he learned about operating systems, networking, and various machine learning and deep learning models. He also worked as a Digital Intern in P&G Procter & Gamble in Europe, where he worked on projects related to internet of things, data analysis, data visualization, and web development. Mohan's research interests include improving accessibility for people with visual impairments like low vision users and blind users. He aims to add intelligence to HP printers so that they can find solutions for their problems and reduce human work. Mohan is also interested in film making, specifically horror mystery films, and completed a diploma in film acting during his bachelor's degree. Mohan is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Web Science & Digital Libraries Research Group, where he researches on applying machine learning and natural language processing to improve web accessibility for low vision users. He also researches on how AI, ML, and NLP can make personalized software and technologies that can understand human languages, pictures, videos and assist vision-impaired users. Mohan has worked as a GURUGRAM POLICE CYBER SECURITY SUMMER INTERN and as a project manager at P&G Rakona plant, where he added the latest technologies and digital solutions to the plant to reduce human labor and increase productivity. Mohan's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, a Master of Technology - MTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Information Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology.
