Mohd Amir is a highly motivated and result-oriented engineering leader with over 12 years of experience in designing robust and scalable web solutions. He is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Microsoft Loop, where he is part of the Sovereign Clouds org and leads a team that builds products for zero touch buildout and deployments of M365 microservices in a new cloud and/or a new region. Mohd's skill set covers a wide spectrum of technologies, including microservices, infrastructure as code, AWS, and machine learning. He is passionate about problem-solving, system design, and product development. He has also grown and coached a new team of developers to develop resilient automations at scale using SDP (Safe Deployment Practices). In his previous roles, Mohd worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer and Software Development Engineer II at Expedia. He has also contributed towards hiring engineers at all levels for Microsoft M365 services. Mohd holds an Integrated Dual Degree in Computer Science & Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also holds a Class XII degree in Sciences from Aligarh Muslim University and a Class X degree in ICSE from City Montessori School.
