Mohit Gupta is a passionate and driven individual with a strong interest in finance, mathematics, and computer science. With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, Mohit has gained expertise in cloud computing, machine learning, and deep learning through various college projects and industrial training. He has also received training in financial modeling owing to his inclination towards the financial sector. Currently a CFA L1 Candidate, Mohit plans to build his career in the FinTech industry. With 2.35 years of relevant experience, Mohit has worked as an Application Developer at BNY Mellon, where he contributed to the jump-start of an Agile Pod team to take on individual projects. He automated legacy processes for operations of corporate action/income events in portfolio services for managing high volume transactions. He also reduced weak points in the development paradigms to enhance overall developer efficiency in development, testing, and deployment. Additionally, he identified and developed reusable components to tackle common development problems. As an Analyst Internship at Deutsche Bank, Mohit worked on the DevOps: Confirmations and Settlements vertical. He packaged, deployed, and tested various applications on OpenShift using Docker and Kubernetes. He also rolled out containerized applications that were beneficial across teams and successfully fulfilled a BootCamp on International Money Market and its regulation. Mohit's tech stack includes deep learning, machine learning, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps. He is currently working as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs and is committed to being a better version of himself than yesterday. Mohit's strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for finance and technology make him an asset to any organization.
