Mohit Kashyap is a Research Lead (Index Quant) at Evalueserve and a Data Scientist at Truist Financial. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi and the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Mohit has developed a diverse skill set that includes financial and relationship skills, programming skills, and project management skills. In his previous roles, Mohit has worked as a Management Trainee (Corporate Banking) at ICICI Bank, where he handled large corporate clients from sourcing to delivery of corporate loans. Mohit has strong programming skills and has worked on projects using Python, SAS, and SQL. He has performed Exotic option pricing using Monte Carlo Simulation for Barrier Options on Python, and has applied Momentum Strategy on a portfolio of 1600+ U.S. Stocks on Python. He has also used SAS and SQL queries to identify data integrity issues in Private Wealth client dataset. Mohit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, and a Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Finance (MFE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a CFA Level 2 candidate.
