Mohit Kathuria is a dynamic and passionate leader with over 11 years of experience in building highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in some of India's top startups such as Paytm, Sprinklr, and InMobi. He has a strong technical background and is experienced in all phases of the software development cycle, including understanding requirements, product solutioning, system design, implementing features, code reviews, release management, stakeholder management, building and mentoring teams, and more. As the Vice President of Engineering at m2p fintech, Mohit is responsible for building and leading large cross-functional engineering teams, growing the team from 10 to 50 members in just 18 months while retaining top-notch talent. He is a great leader and self-motivator who enjoys working in aggressive and demanding work environments. Mohit's technical expertise includes Core Java, API Design, System design, architecture, Elasticsearch, Kafka, web services, microservices, Redis, and more. In his previous roles, Mohit worked as the Director of Engineering at Paytm, where he led the development of Paytm's Wallet, Accounting, QR, and VideoKYC platforms, and as the Engineering Lead at Prophesee, where he led backend development based on Java, MongoDB, Elastic Search, AWS, and worked closely with the founders for product roadmap, tech architecture, and feature enhancements. Mohit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from NSIT and has a strong educational background. He is a skilled software engineer with expertise in backend development, search, and microservices, among others.
