Mohit Srivastava is a highly skilled Technology Lead with 7.35 years of experience in the field of software development. Currently, he is working at EATCLUB Brands (formerly BOX8) as a Technology Lead, where he is leading a team to manage development around cart, discounts, payments, and ordering. Prior to this, Mohit worked as a Software Development Engineer at BOX8, where he was responsible for automating ingestion of 50% of total orders by integrating BOX8’s ordering platform with Zomato and Google Areo. He also designed and implemented BOX8’s skill for ordering food via Alexa and modified the server-side infrastructure to support multiple brands. Mohit implemented API versioning for different APIs to facilitate the launch of backward-incompatible features. He developed a promotion/couponing system for BOX8 that enables validation and application of specific as well as generic promotional coupons. He also developed a marketing/communication platform that enables push notifications and SMS to specific customers on Android and iOS devices using Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. Mohit implemented server-side integrations of payment gateways and wallets such as Paytm, Freecharge, and Mobikwik. He also implemented server-side integration to allow order scheduling and lazy pay for cash on delivery orders. Mohit has also worked as a Summer Trainee at Samsung, where he studied Android internals, Android start-up, activity lifecycle, Android application launch, and memory management in Android. He worked on an Android device using debugging tools and tested different applications for their launch times at different levels of memory and at different stages in their lifecycle. He plotted and mined the data obtained to identify the factors that affect the launch time of an application and reported the results to the project team. Mohit completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from IIT in 2015, and his high school education from St. John's School D.L.W. Varanasi in 2009. His technical skills include Android, Software Engineering, iOS, infra, and Mobile. Mohit is a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
