Mohit Yadav is a highly skilled software engineer with 8.69 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is working with Facebook as a Software Engineer. He has previously worked with Scaler Academy as a Lead Instructor and Curriculum Designer, where he led the execution of Scaler Plus, a vertical focused on upskilling learners from tier 1 product companies. He was instrumental in setting up the curriculum for the system design module and also led distribution efforts for YouTube. Mohit has also worked with Nutanix and Hotstar, where he worked on cutting-edge technologies and built APIs that scaled to 10M concurrent users. He has also built data platforms that can crunch 1TB of data per day. Having worked with many initial stage startups, he has developed a knack for solving complex problems with vague problem statements. He joined Indus as a 4th developer and grew the team to over 50 solid engineers within a span of 1 year. Being an early engineer in Hotstar, he helped them build the platform in-house, and the engineering team grew from 15 developers when he joined to over 300 engineers. He was instrumental in bringing up new initiatives and thereby adding 30 developers during his stint at Nutanix. Mohit holds a Bachelor of Engineering (hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani, and completed his Senior Secondary Education in Non-Medical Science from Mira Model School, New Delhi. He is a skilled software engineer and designer, with expertise in various technologies. Mohit is passionate about teaching and has been involved in setting up the data platform at Scaler Academy.
