Moka Bhikshalu is a Senior Architect with over 14 years of experience in the technology industry. He has worked with clients in various domains such as BFSI, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Automobile, Healthcare, Pharma, and Supply Chain Management. Moka has experience with product and project-based development models. He is currently working as a Platform Engineering Lead at Maersk, where he is responsible for workspace governance using Databricks Python API, big data engineering, reports/dashboards development, data processing using Azure Databricks ADF, API, Pyspark, Power BI development, and Microsoft Azure cloud analytics. He also has experience with Hyperscale PostgreSQL (Citus), Databricks SQL Analytics, Azure DevOps, Log Analytics, Dremio Lakehouse platform, Azure Databricks POCs/benchmarking & development, ETL development using DATAIKU DSS, Databricks Pyspark, ADF, and Azure Data Lake gen2 migration. Moka has previously worked with Morgan Stanley as a Senior Manager, where he handled a global data analytics and SAP BI Business Objects reporting team. He developed financial credit risk models, marketing and retail analytics, and has extensive experience in coding and performance tuning using R, Python, and SQL programs. He was involved in end-to-end technical program/project management and technical on hands from ETL data extraction, data warehouse modeling, mining, data quality, SAP BI/BO/BOXI reporting, Universe Semantic layer universe design, Tableau visualization, and predictive modeling using machine learning models for regulatory and revenue data of the financial institution in investment banking. He also has extensive exposure to the trading domain with the world’s leading wealth management banking firm. Moka has also worked with Synechron as a Specialist, where he was deployed at Morgan Stanley. He developed predictive machine learning models using R-Language for Financial Credit Risk Analytics, developed complex data visualizations using Tableau for interactive analysis and SAP BOXI reports for Adhoc reporting for revenue data, and developed machine learning models and led a data science/analytics team of 15 members development and production support at different locations. Moka has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology.
