Moni Singh is a STEM learning innovator, franchise leader, transformational executive, motivational speaker, and cross-connector of education, business, and communities. She is the founder and CEO of STEM For Kids, an educational system that inspires entrepreneurs globally to make a positive impact for children in their communities and enables teachers and educators to bring fresh multi-dimensional STEM curriculum into their classrooms. Moni has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science and Technology with Honors from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and an MBA with Honors from Duke University. She has contributed to the design, manufacturing, and sales of technologies like wireless and satellite phones, internet to homes, and smart meters. Moni has received prestigious awards, including the Triangle Business Journal Women in Business Leader in STEM, Enterprising Women of the Year Award Honoree, Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40, and News and Observer’s TarHeel of the Week. She has served on various boards for educational causes and consults on matters pertaining to sourcing, schools-industry partnering, and teacher professional development. Under her leadership, the STEM For Kids brand has earned rank #173 in the highly coveted Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 list. Currently, Moni serves as the President of sfk franchising inc., which provides educational enrichment in Robotics, Engineering, and Computer Programming for children ages 4-14 through camps, afterschool programs, in-school field trips, workshops in schools, and outside community spaces. Moni is a learner, an engineer, an educator, and a mother of three children. She is regularly invited for public speaking on matters pertaining to education, STEM, and Computer Science in schools.
