Monika is an experienced UX designer with over 12 years of relevant experience in the field. She has a strong focus on establishing UX design as the first stage of all web application developments and instituting a user-centered design approach. Monika is currently working as a Lead UX Designer at voxpopme, where she is responsible for working end-to-end, from research and ideation through to prototyping, testing, and final delivery. She designs, leads, and/or participates in user research activities and design thinking workshops to identify problems to solve and ideate on solutions. Monika also establishes, promotes, and supports design principles, best practices, and standards. Monika has worked with several companies in the past, including drivvn and Summit - Changemakers in Online Retail, where she held the position of Senior User Experience Designer. At drivvn, Monika analyzed user interface problems and created intuitive, accessible, easy-to-use design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements. She translated the user needs and the business into a concept and created process flows, user journeys, wireframes, visual design mock-ups, and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors. At Summit - Changemakers in Online Retail, Monika worked closely with the Product team in an Agile workflow to design visually compelling and highly usable web applications for Automotive e-commerce, that Fortune 500 companies all around the world use. Monika holds an M.Tech degree in Information Technology from Panjab University and a B.Tech degree in Instrumentation & Control from Kurukshetra University. She has a strong tech stack that includes designer, research scientist, web, test, mobile, and product manager. Monika's expertise lies in designing high-impact, user-centered Web Applications with strong emotional appeal, sophisticated production values, and intuitive navigation to maximize user engagement and cement powerful brand identities.
