Moumita Mukherjee is a versatile and dynamic software engineer with experience in building web applications and data science. Her right brain also takes precedence over her left brain, and she enjoys painting, quilling, and shooting food pictures. Currently, Moumita is working as a Data Science Research Assistant at ai for mankind, where she collaborates with HPWREN to detect smoke from real-time wildfire images captured by pre-installed cameras. Using Tensorflow 2.0, she built a model that successfully identified smoke from clouds with an accuracy of 95%. She also compared and contrasted various models, including YOLO, Faster RCNN, EfficientDet, and MobileNet, to get the best results. Before joining ai for mankind, Moumita worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University's Mays Business School and as a Software Engineer at Accenture. At Accenture, she developed an application that allowed clients to access customized talent using ASP.NET, JavaScript (Angular JS), HTML, CSS in an MVC framework. She also wrote SQL queries, analyzed data using Excel Pivot Tables, and automated the build and deployment process by building a CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, reducing manual efforts by 40%.
