Mounil Memaya is a skilled Applications Engineer at Oracle with over 3 years of relevant experience in the field. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Mounil has also completed his Senior Secondary Certificate from Rustomjee International School, Mumbai. Before joining Oracle, Mounil worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he assisted Prof. Vinayak Naik in the course of Computer Networks. He also worked as an Intern at Cogoport, where he introduced a data pipeline for data analytics in the company, minimizing the consumption of resources, and lowering latency. He transformed any change to the database into a stream, implemented ETL logic, and stored the updated data into an Analytics database. Mounil streamlined the process used by the business team to visualize the data using Metabase. He also developed a technique to deploy an independent rails engine in any application, which helped reduce code redundancy. Additionally, Mounil researched and analyzed how GraphQL would be an upgrade from the previously used Rest API and the process of its implementation. He successfully tested migration of the entire codebase from Rails 5 to Rails 6. Mounil's technical skills include Ruby and ETL.
