Mradul Bhatnagar is a hardworking and passionate individual currently pursuing Computer Science at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. He is highly skilled in Data Structures and Algorithms and has a strong foundation in Computer Sciences. With a keen interest in solving complex real-world problems using technology, Mradul is always excited to discuss the prospects of where tech can lead us. Currently working as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT Media Lab, Mradul is involved in Project FASCIA, where he is working on creating a sleep mask for gathering Brain signal data and predicting and analyzing sleep stages for researchers without setups. He is optimizing machine learning models to increase accuracy and reduce latency to predict sleep stages from multiple brain signal channels. Mradul is also developing pipelines for processing and transmitting signals from FASCIA to the client for visualization and analytics. Previously, Mradul has worked as a Data Science Intern at Cred and as a Software Engineer Intern at Arcesium. At Arcesium, he developed a web application to analyze the impact of keyword frequency during quarterly earning calls on asset prices. He used Elasticsearch to index data and implement autocomplete functionality and used Named Entity Recognition (NER) and NLP techniques to clean data and extract keywords from call transcripts. Mradul has a strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Visiting Student degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has a High School degree in Engineering and Computer Science from Father Agnel School. With a diverse tech stack that includes Data Science, Software Engineering, ML, Research Science, NLP, Elastic Search, and Web, Mradul has relevant experience of 2.11 years. He is a highly skilled professional who is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.
