Mridul Chopra is a Senior Manager of Software Development Engineering at Expedia Group, where he leads a team in building a world-class loyalty platform that drives rewards programs across EG Brands and partners. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Mridul is a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and designer with expertise in SQL, Java, Spring, test, Integration, Web, MongoDB, AWS, SDET, Docker, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Prior to working at Expedia, Mridul held positions at NatWest and Birlasoft, where he served as Associate Vice President and Technology Manager, respectively. At NatWest, he worked with the core engineering software design team to build a new enterprise-level platform that acted as a DaaS (data as a service) for the corporate and investment banking department. At Birlasoft, Mridul was responsible for technical design and implementation, code reviews, performance tuning, framework enhancements, conducting proof of concepts, and client and team management. Mridul holds a Master of Science in Industrial Software Engineering from Malardalen University in Sweden, a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Systems and Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering.
