Mridul Jain is a seasoned software engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Uber, where he works in the 3rd Party Fulfillment team, enabling a true marketplace model that benefits Uber, riders, 3P drivers, and 3P partners by simplifying the way in which 3P Supply can integrate into the Uber marketplace. Prior to Uber, Mridul worked as a Software Development Engineer-II in the WW Prime Membership team at Amazon, building and managing services that run the biggest subscription program in the world, delivering value for customers. Mridul was also one of the early engineers of qplum's core tech team, where he had the opportunity to build an end-to-end product from the ground up with an awesome team. He started his work primarily on the product development side and then transitioned into core backend and systems engineering. He worked on critical parts of the codebase including Multiple Broker Integration, Portfolio Management Service, Data Analytics Service, and various internal API Micro-services. He also led a team of developers managing the market-data platform and building distributed data-services. Mridul's education background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering (with Honours) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Minor Degree in Management from the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management at IIT Bombay. He also completed his high school education from St. Thomas School, Bhopal. Mridul is an expert in a variety of tech stacks, including Software Engineering, Microservices, Integration, Backend, CI/CD, AWS, Jupyter, Data Engineering, Apache Airflow, RabbitMQ, Research Scientist, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka, and infra.
