Mridula Sivanandan is a Software Engineer at Meta, with almost 5 years of relevant experience in the field. She started her career as an Engineer at an early-stage startup and has worked extensively in the backend. She is now exploring the product side of things. Mridula has worked at crio.do as a Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern. She joined as the 2nd employee of the early-stage startup and played a key role in laying the foundations for multiple functionalities in the platform that are being used in production today. She owned the program and task board component of the product from coming up with PRD, user research to deployment and post-testing maintenance for key features such as onboarding, user profile creation, enrollment, and course completion. She has also worked on multiple projects including whitelisting, single sign-on, automating certificate generation, and workspace creation for user cohort by taking complete ownership of the projects starting from requirement gathering to deployment. Mridula has also initiated the unit test health maintenance in the engineering team and attempted to involve everyone to get each functionality unit tested resulting in a 70% increase in test coverage. She has also led small teams of interns for various projects such as Integration testing of early platform and release of 50 courses from external content creators.
