The application extracts structured information from a list of chosen news websites in under a minute, which is further classified into a menu consisting of articles on defense, robotics, missiles, etc. The crawler provides an excellent one-stop solution to DRDO scientists for fetching relevant articles in a structured manner, helping them in their research teams. This application will further be used in finding and curbing the spread of fake information on the internet. During his tenure at KPMG, Mrinal worked as a Data Analytics Consultant, where he dealt with the mystery out of big data and learned what it's like to produce business results. He helped in assessing the data quality and completeness in preparation for analysis, targeting high-value customers based on customer demographics and attributes, and using visualizations to present insights. Mrinal also participated in the open access Software Engineering Virtual Experience at JP Morgan, where he worked on establishing financial data feeds, front-end web development, and data visualization with perspective.
