Mrityunjay Bhargav is a Commercialization Engineer at Schlumberger with a strong background in Geophysical Exploration. He is a recent graduate of Integrated M. Tech Geophysical Technology from IIT Roorkee and is currently working as a Project Associate in a project under the National Supercomputing Mission. Mrityunjay is highly motivated and open to exploring new opportunities in the field of Geophysical Exploration. With over three years of relevant experience, Mrityunjay has worked on several projects that have honed his skills in the field. During his time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, he worked as a Project Associate on a project that involved the simulation of SH wave propagation in VTI Media using FORTRAN. He also processed and interpreted MASW and HVSR data from Uttarakhand and Himachal Himalaya to provide a reliable model of the subsurface of the Himalayan crust. Additionally, Mrityunjay worked on genetic algorithm and submitted a research paper (currently under review). He also prepared annual project reports and presentations. Mrityunjay's Masters Thesis focused on the investigation of Shear Wave Velocity Profile Using Active and Passive Sources. He acquired, processed, and interpreted data using TROMINO with both active and passive sources. He also developed a Shear wave velocity model up to 30m depth, which is a site classification parameter used before building any major structure. The joint fit of HVSR and MASW results were plotted for increasing the accuracy of the results. Mrityunjay acquired several skills during his thesis, including strong Ground Motion, Site Amplification, HVSR survey, MASW survey, Vs30, Shear Wave Velocity, and Attenuation. Mrityunjay's education history includes an Integrated M.Tech in Geophysical Technology from IIT Roorkee and a Senior Secondary degree in PCM from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. He is a Research Scientist with a strong technical background and a passion for Geophysical Exploration.
