Mudassir Razvi is an experienced software engineering professional with more than 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying complex and performance-critical software applications. He currently works as an Engineering Manager - DevOps at Razorpay and is responsible for driving the shift to a DevOps culture in the organization. He is an advocate for DevOps and believes it will revolutionize the way we see work divisions and cultures today. Mudassir has experience in building applications and tools for enforcing DevOps culture, analyzing, evangelizing, migrating, and rolling out tools and processes ensuring Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployments. He brings in tools that complement CI and CD and help improve Developer efficiency. He writes scripts to automate operations and ensure process adherence. Mudassir has worked on projects with C++, Web Services, Network, and Multi-threaded programming. He has experience in designing, implementing, and delivering mission-critical modules and working closely with related functions like Product Management, Delivery Management, and QA. He follows the Scrum Framework for Agile Development to plan and track projects. In his previous roles, Mudassir has worked as an Engineering Manager at Zapr and Senior Software Engineer at Tally. At Tally, he was one of the first members of the DevOps team when it was formed. He automated builds, created Git servers, migrated all product streams from SubVersion to Git, trained every developer on Git, and provided support and help to users during the transition to ease adoption. He introduced the concept of CI and set up Jenkins, analyzed the migration and adoption of JIRA, and wrote Python scripts for automating provisioning, deployments, and maintenance of instances. Mudassir has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology. He has also completed his 12th grade from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He has relevant experience of 9.62 years and has expertise in Senior Software Engineering, DevOps, AWS, Python, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, QA, product management, integration, web, infra, Azure, Terraform, Spark, MySQL, MongoDB, product designer, Kafka, Backend, and Software Engineering.
