Mudit Choraria is a passionate developer with over 3 years of experience in software engineering. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Atlassian, Mudit is a skilled backend developer and has contributed significantly to the Jira cloud-native platform team. He has led the backend modernization of an existing product experience by adding new GraphQL APIs. He has also worked on initiatives to improve the performance of Jira Classic Boards and Backlog, which has resulted in significant improvements in TTI and drag and drop performance. Mudit is a proactive team player and has led initiatives like Grad Learns, championing an experiment to improve team agility, and led the Technical Onboarding of 2021 graduates across 4 teams. He has also spent two months on a Secondment to a neighboring team to lead an initiative, drive the technical thought and improve the team hygiene. Prior to Atlassian, Mudit worked as an Engineering Intern at Qubole, where he was responsible for developing an automated tool for the rollout of feature flags to customers on different cloud frameworks. He also extensively improved an integral dev tool and worked on an organization-wide Python Upgrade Project. Mudit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in Ruby, Big Data, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Redis, Docker, Jenkins, and Web development. Mudit is a creative thinker and a problem solver who enjoys writing about things he believes in and coding anything that interests him. With his experience and skills, he is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
