Mudit Jain is a Senior Software Engineer at Uber with over 3 years of experience in software development. He graduated from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2020. Mudit is passionate about building maintainable, efficient, and cool software tools that help people with their everyday life. He has experience in various technologies including NodeJS, Go, Android Development, Google Cloud, and Backend. He has worked as a Summer Intern (Software Development Internship) with Uber, Bangalore, India. In his current role as a Software Engineer II at Uber, Mudit is responsible for developing and maintaining software tools that help Uber provide a seamless experience to its customers. He has also worked as a Software Engineer and an Intern - Engineering at Uber in the past. Mudit's past experience includes working on SherLog - A Unified Extensible In-App Log Viewer, where he was responsible for building an extensible Log Viewer which can show different types of logs like Network Logs, Console Logs, or any other logs in the same UI. He implemented Log Provider and Log Observer using ReactiveX, Dagger which would talk to the different interceptors for fetching data from streams. He also implemented UI such that it actually does not know many or what types of logs are coming and what severity levels are there. He added streams for default Log frameworks to emit logs using RxStream. Mudit has a strong technical background and is proficient in technologies such as Software Engineering, Android, Backend, NodeJS, UI, Dagger, and Search. He is a quick learner and always eager to explore new technologies.
