He is responsible for product management, setting priorities in alignment with stakeholders, and defining OKRs and KPIs definitions to help the team and the company achieve ambitious goals. Mufaddal also helps the team with data platform architecture design and defines best practices for software and data engineering. Mufaddal has previously worked at Careem as an Engineering Manager for Data Platform and as a Lead Data Engineer. He has designed the best data platform architecture powering machine learning, analytics, and business intelligence at Careem. He has also led and evangelized the effort on real-time processing at Careem and built the data platform from the ground up for real-time ingestion, processing, and consumption. Mufaddal has designed the architecture of the entire real-time data lake at Careem, empowering the calculation of real-time KPIs.
