Muhammed Miah is a Senior ML Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of data engineering and machine learning. He has a passion for AI and transforming its research into impactful real-world applications. Muhammed has full-stack experience spanning the construction of robust ETL and data pipelines, and the development of associated visualization tools based on real-world data. Muhammed is experienced in building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that deal with large data volumes. He has been programming for 20 years, including 10 with Python, 6 with the PyData stack, and 3 with Spark. He is skilled in AWS, Python, SQL, Java, Jupyter, Spark, and data analysis. Currently, Muhammed is working as a Senior ML Engineer at galytix, where he has operationalized deep learning ML projects. He designed and built the 'Doc2Data' product that curated unstructured data from pdf documents and outputted meaningful interactive charts for the clients. He also built and configured a multi-tenant machine learning environment on AWS using Kubeflow, Kubernetes, and Docker. Previously, Muhammed worked as a Lead ML Engineer at Coda Platform, where he initiated the startup's data science function. He grew out the team and designed and implemented the architecture behind the ML systems. He also productionized ML models in both the cloud and edge (mobile) devices, embedded within their SDK. Muhammed has a Master's Degree in Data Science from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering with Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton. He also has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University College London, U. of London.
