Mukesh Aggarwal is an experienced L6 Manager in DevOps Engineering at Amazon India, with over 15 years of relevant experience. He currently manages a high-performing team of 12 engineers, consisting of SDEs, Sys-Devs, and DevOps professionals. Mukesh is responsible for managing 10+ critical Tier1 service stacks for AFT, including KTLO support for Inbound, Outbound, and Platform. He also manages multi-org projects for the development and enhancement of internal tools for operational excellence of Amazon Fulfillment services, such as Alfred, OE Automator, Carnaval Doctor, and Roslin. Mukesh is an expert in driving OE and monthly business review meetings for AFT services with L7/L8 SDMs (software dev managers) and connecting with service SDMs to address challenges, support effectiveness, and service improvement initiatives. He is also responsible for driving KTLO handling, KTLO reductions, service improvements, and automations for AFT services. Mukesh creates and manages operating plan/road map documents for all AFT services and handles peak readiness support, including scaling, descaling, RADAR, OE reviews, and control center support. In addition to his current role at Amazon, Mukesh has also worked as an Associate Director at UBS, where he managed three support teams with different application suits and tech stacks. He was responsible for handling technical and functional issues and escalations from stakeholders, managing BAU activities, production stability and readiness, user queries, and automation of daily BAU tasks. He also performed incident management, problem management, and release management and ensured incidents and service requests were handled within agreed SLAs. Mukesh has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Technology & Management. He is proficient in various tech stacks, including DevOps, Azure, SQL, Kafka, Terraform, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Search, Spring, AWS, Jenkins, and Python. Mukesh is a mentor, hires and develops new talents for AFT and Amazon, and has a strong understanding of ITIL framework.
