Mukesh Kataria is a seasoned technology enthusiast with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He has an impressive track record of driving products that have been shipped in over a billion PCs, servers, and mobile devices. Currently serving as the Platform Product Architect - Security at Apple, Mukesh is responsible for driving the technical readiness of the platform and enabling customers to leverage its capabilities. Mukesh has extensive experience in managing high-performance teams that deliver high-quality products under demanding schedules. He is a technical expert in BIOS, OS Drivers, SW/FW Kernel infrastructure, platform security, and embedded security. He has led global teams and driven product stages from requirements collection to technical readiness to definition scoping to solution development to customer enabling. Before joining Apple, Mukesh worked at Intel, where he served as the Director - Security Solutions Products and Principal Engineer. At Intel, he led a team of senior architects in the field of security, embedded OS Architecture, performance, and power management, to deliver architecture for Intel® Converged Security Engine. He also prioritized architecture roadmap and definition with internal business units and product management teams. Mukesh built and extended relationships with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Lenovo, and other tier 1 OEMs towards enablement of current-gen security engine as well as requirements disposition for future generations. Mukesh has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Maharshi Dayanand University. He is a senior software engineer with expertise in mobile and infra technologies. Mukesh's specialties include leading global teams, driving product stages, technical expertise, and platform and embedded security.
