Mukta Satish is a Certified Ethical Hacker and former Security Analyst at Accenture, with a passion for using software to solve practical problems. Cybersecurity is her area of expertise, where she leverages her interest in solving puzzles to have a real-world impact. She pursued a Masters in Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney to expand her horizons and collaborate with like-minded individuals. Currently, Mukta works as a Careers Intern at UTS, where she organizes and assists in career development workshops and events. She represents UTS Careers in the Careers Fair for UTS students and industries and answers prospective student inquiries about the support international students can access through UTS Careers. She is also a co-designer for the Design Your Life Program, where she helped reshape face-to-face offerings and develop a series of virtual learning experiences. In her past role at Accenture, Mukta worked as a Security Associate, Application Security, where she explored/exploited security vulnerabilities and fixed them proactively. She has extensive knowledge of static code analyzers and worked as a key developer in developing Accenture home-grown static code analysis tool called ASAP. Mukta's education history includes a Master of Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological Institute-Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. Apart from her technical expertise, Mukta has a creative side and works part-time as a Stylist, where she listens and guides clients towards outfits that complement their features. Her experience as a budding hairdresser has improved her communication skills and brought out her creative side. Mukta's tech stack includes Java, PHP, designer, Frontend, test, and Python, and she has 3.94 years of relevant experience.
